Jacuzzi Family Vineyards 

This winery is located in Sonoma; however it has historically held vineyard land in what is now the Tracy Hills AVA. Jacuzzi still produces varietal Tracy Hills AVA-designate wines, including Aglianico, Sagrantino, Nero d’Avola, and Montepulciano.

Ficklin Vineyards 

In the late 1940s, Ficklin planted 5 ha/13 acres of red Port varieties for the purpose of making Port-inspired fortified wines. They remain focused on that today, producing red, tawny, and Madeira styles.

Quady

This sweet and aperitif wine specialist made its first wine in 1975, a fortified Zinfandel. Quady’s best-known wines are Orange Muscat, Black Muscat, and Moscato. Along with other dessert and fortified wines, Quady makes excellent vermouth under the Vya label.

The Lucas Winery

One of Lodi's original independent wineries, producing estate-grown, handcraft vineyard-designated Zinfandel since the 1970s. The Lucas Winery was one of the plaintiffs in the Granholm vs. Heald U.S. Supreme Court case on direct-to-consumer shipping, the landmark case that widened the doors to direct shipping in the U.S.

Markus Wine Co. 

Specialty small winery owned by a European-born winemaker applying European sensibilities to native yeast fermented blends of heritage varietals, as well as specialty German grapes

Michael David Winery 

Lodi's largest and most successful independent, family owned grower/producer, with roots in the region going back to the 1860s

McCay Cellars 

Small, handcraft, obsessively minimal-intervention-style grower/producer of heritage as well as Rhône-inspired varietals and blends

E. & J. Gallo Winery 

The largest wine producer in the world, founded and still based in Modesto. The portfolio includes many wines and brands focused on the valley, along with others based on other regions. 

Delicato Family Wines 

Established in Manteca, San Joaquin County,  in 1924, Delicato remains a family-owned and -operated business, but is now one of the top 10 wine suppliers in the United States.
